It was worth a shot.

What we really need is someone that has an service manual so they can check the wiring schematics so we would know what color wire we are looking for.

As popular as DSM's are, I'd think there would be some sort of site like stealth316.com...

 

Okay, well be prepared. Like I said the picture quality is horrible.. I had to take them from my cellphone. I 'misplaced' my digital camera.

 

 

And as for the picture of my 'rear'.. in your dreams guys.

 

I'm not really sure what I am looking at in your pics. Could you take one that shows the rear of the hatch, so I can see what wires go where. Sorry to be a PITA.

Are there any areas that you can see the wires getting pinched at all? What about where the wires run through the metal, at the black grommets/plugs, where do the wires go from there? Is that where the tail lights are?

 

thats the part that looks good, its the inside of the shell, id say the cables are pinned where the frame for the headlights goes into.... or.. maybe the reverse lights... also a mashed socket....

 

Look for a crimped wire or something... its prob shorting to the frame. That will blowa fuse.
