I was wondering if anyone knows how ppl get into tuning cars. Do they just applye at shops and hope for the best,or do they just buy a car,build it up,tune it and hope it doesn't blow and go from there??
Anybody know??

 

Well I have a freind who works at jnz tuning by me and he knows his ****, had a built 90 gsx (now galant vr4) and knew people. So yeah...idk if that helps lol.

I think there are ways to attract public's attention by driving a head-turner and also making a shop owner to hire you. But you really need a lot of knowledge and hands-on experience to be a successful tuner. Certifications would certainly help on this career path.
