Default Help can't get into 2012 Outlander SE

We just bought an 2012 Outlander SE at the auction. We got a key that starts the car but no keyless remote for the car. My wife locked the car last night and this morning we can't unlock the the car.

The key turns in the drivers door both ways but but does not unlock the door.

What do we do? Just got the car and it is totally new to us.

Newbie with lots of questions.

Thanks for looking and trying. Those were not our issues. Our door lock turns but it does not send the signal for it to open the locks. Our local dealer service is open soon I will call them.

According to the owner's manual turning the key should unlock it so it may have a malfunction.

The good thing we still have manufactures warranty part of that is roadside help. Called Mitsubishi they sent out a lock smith who got into the car and going to take the car in for warranty to get keyfob and fix the door.

To get a missing keyfob key it is $315 from dealer, car lock places not much better. Need another option.
