Question Triton 2.5L Fuel Consumption

I have a 2012 Triton 2.5L Turbo Diesel, it's a 2x4. My problem is simple, it's consuming 14 litres per 100km!! That can't be right? I have never reached more than 480km on a full tank of fuel and when mitsubishi serviced the car they said there's nothing wrong!!

Please can anyone tell me what to do? Is this normal?

Default same issue

I own a 2017 L200 with a 4d56 2.5 TDI engine, I get about about the same mileage (somewhere between 10 to 15 l/km, depending on the driving conditions), the dealer also says there is nothing wrong with it. I agree that the actual fuel consumption is way higher than what is advertised everywhere. I owned a Toyota before and its fuel consumption was much closer to what was advertised.

I do have some extras like bull bar(front and rear), M/T tires, winch, sport bar, this adds some extra weight but still the fuel consumption seems high to me compared to what is advertised.

That's the fact bro. If you add an extra accessory to your vehicle. Your vehicle will tend to lose its mileage.
