my stock stereo all of the sudden wouldn't play when i got off of work!!!

it works and displays and everything, just no sound??? the speakers are like not on!!! any suggestions? is there a fuse that controls the speakers only that maybe blew? or did the stock amp go out???

ahhh braindead pain med moment.
under your dash on the drivers side there is a fusebox.
the #4 fuse (should be labeled on the cover) is the stock amplifier fuse. If its not labeled, its the 15amp fuse on the bottom left corner.

 

That or a short if you recently installed something new, but id say go for the lil fusey

 

excellent sure enough it was blown, found it yesterday. upper left though...

My advice would have been....

Put your seat all the way back... get onto your back and put yourself into the "dead bug" position.. and proceed to extend your leg into the stereo several times.... then replace it

ROFL, and you did it on pain med im wondering why did the fuse blew out of nothing but ohhh well, must be cuz its old
