Default 2g MAF in 1g and timing

ive never seen anything about this, but since a 2g MAF running with 550cc injectors is almost equivelent to stock 1g maf and injectors, andthe timing goes alot by the MAF signal, shouldnt you have to retard the timing to compensate for the lower aiflow signal to the ECU to keep it from advancing too far?

it seems right, i just know this other car runs 100% better to drive itwith a 2g MAF over a hacked 1g maf.
