Default 93 Eclipse Dead!

My car was running ok, but had developed an occasional miss. Then it just cut off while driving in the parking lot and will not crank back up. It turns over, but does not catch. I tested the compression when I got it and it was like this:

160 155 160 165 or something along those lines.

Now its:
160 100 90 110

I'm guessing I have that to blame for the no start condition. I tested the injectors with a noid light and they all fire. I had spark on the cylinders and fuel at the fuel rail.

I'm guessing I burned valves in 3 of the cyls. Any other ideas? Anyone need parts?

I thought it had gotten loose and slipped since it was still turning the cam and dist. Well, I pulled the cover off and everything (except the front balancer, which was off one tooth) was lined up. The crank and cam were still lined up, so it should be running.

Do a wet test on the cyl. That will lest if its the rings. However i dont think it will be those but just another thing to check. Theres only a few things that can cause that low comp. and its the rings, valves, head gasket.

You might have fuel at the rail but check to see if the injectors are firing when you crank it over. You can check them w/ a test light or noid light.

No but the car should run w/ that compression. I agree w/ TE do a wet compression test and post up the results.

I did test with the noid light and they are firing.

I would have thought it would at least have tried to run, but its not even doing that. I also sprayed engine starter in the throttle body and turned it over, if it was a lack of fuel, that would have made it at least try to catch, but it didnt do anything. I pulled the plugs, grounded them and cranked them over and could see a solid spark, so that isnt it.

I would get your distributor checked out... Not sure to much about the compression but could be why its not firing up... If you have doubts take it into the dealer and have them run a drive ability test on it its around $90..
