I too cheap to buy a turbo timer, I just wait w/ the car and let it idle lol.

 

ha well i dont want to have to do that everytime. plus a turbo timer isnt all that much is it? like 150$ at the most right?

 

so just an update on the dsmlink. apparently my ecu wasnt eprom, i was told that it was from the guy who tuned my car in the past but i got it out today and figured out it wasnt. i got my ecu shipped in to ecmtuning to get converted though so it should be sometime next week when i actually get this thing moving.

 

How much did it cost to convert the ecu over to eprom?

 

originally it was going to be 170 but he gave me a discount since i had already bought dsmlink and it came out to $100.

so its relatively easy to tune it yourself?
