Any other sights you guys suggest for a downpipe?

(Keep in mind i want the full pipe to get rid of the catalytic converter as well)

 

I think that the VRS downpipe will eliminate the cat as well, but im not 100%, but i dont think youll find a decent downpipe for under 250.

 

Keep in mind, i'm only going to have the car for about 5 months...I'm leaving for the Navy..So, i might just go with ebay to get something cheap that will work until then, you know?

I don't see how it would be a performance lost, but i understand it will be made sh*tty. Surely, it will last 5 months though, you know?

 

You never know with ebay parts. You can"t rely on the reputation of the seller or the manufacturer because you don't know who they are.

I once bought an exhaust header off of ebay a long time ago. Once I got the header in, after a couple weeks of driving the flex pipe disconnected from the pipe. I took the car to an exhaust shop to see if there was something they could do and they said the whole thing was **** and that I should have whoever I bought it from, send me a new one. I trashed that part and ended up buying a nice ceramic coated header for around $200.

You can buy the ebay part if you really want to, it's your car. But I STRONGLY suggest you don't, because I can almost garrantee you will end up buying the better part because the ebay part will be a POS.

 

Alright, i think I'm going to have the race shop mandrel bend one for me...They can do it for $140...Plus, if something goes wrong, they will fix it...(Kind of re-assurance) Also, i can just get the down-pipe and BOV done all at the same time next week...Makes more sense in a way...

 

cool, as long as you trust the muffler shop with what they are doing.
