yes the squirter is the same as the jet just a different name. They are located on the underside of the pistons for cooling. Magnus shows a picture of them in the block and removed from the block

Careful, all turbo 2nd gen eclipses crankwalk. The GS/RS doesnt.
Dont be reardedsebba lol.

And BTW there is quite a long list of member here who have blown up there 7 bolts in some waydue to crankwalk issues. Consider that to the fact that this site is not that big either.

Yes but that was an open list. A majority of the cases are more then likely spun bearings. Yeah, somepeople argue that it's crankwalk that causes the failed bearings, but I disagree. It'd make sense maybe, but even Turbo Subaru's have problems with bearings. Crankwalk was overrated because everyone wanted to say it was crankwalk. Probably why Mitsubishi didn't take it seriously. There was people saying they got crankwalk when their car just wouldn't start, turns out they needed anew coilpack (just an example).

Either way, yes it DOES happen. I FINALLY saw a REAL cw victim with proof. But that's 1. So it's a little more rare then people make it out to be.

I totally agree on this as far as 6bolt swap you do have to re-wire all sensors on the bottom end to the harness for a 7bolt everyone I know that has done this swap had to do it and wire length matters in this field or ecm may read false signals because of wire length.
The only wires that needed to be changed were the wires that originally went to the 2nd Gen 7bolt CRANK angle sensor, which need to be mated to the 1g CAM angle sensor. Magnus Motorsports and Road Race Engineering both make a harness (which is the one I use):

Unfortenately mine had crankwalk.. I didnt want to admit to it, but after I tore the motor down I saw why it was doing what it was doing.. I do agree though with steve.. Anytime someone starts having a problem, it could easily be blamed on crankwalk and not actually be the case.. But out of the 3 eclipses ive owned only 1 got it..
