does anyone know if a JDM motor is compatible with an american intake manifold for these vehicles or if there is a way to apply a MAP/MDP sensor to a JDM manifold because the intake manifold in the vehicle now is a JDM and has no bolt-on place for the sensor

Ah, now there's some good news. You're in luck! DSMparts.com makes an MDP relocation adapter for 1G swaps in 2G cars.

Bad news is the MDP sensor checks on the EGR. Without the sensor, you'll get a CEL, but you'll still be able to turn your car on.
Pic number two is the stock fuel pressure regulator. If you have an aftermarket one, don't worry about it, just be sure to leave it plugged in (electrically).
Pic number three is the EGR control solenoids.
Here's a site that may help you locate sensor on the top of the engine.

Here it is for the 1G motor.
