I called SBR and they said it will take 4 weeks for them to ship me an assembled stage one long block. I need to put a stage 1 in my talon. What do i do? should i order all the parts and build it myself? I would be ordering an assembled block if i did it myself. What should i do? i dont want my talon to be out of commission for that long. I want it running again

 

dont rush to get it together winter is here anyways so I say waite for it and quite worrying about how long the car is imoble for because its winter and you dont need a fast car for the snow

feel fortunate that you have a secondary car!! i have everything necessary for my bottom end rebuild and have had it for a lil over a month now... but can't afford to not have a car long enough for them to bore and reassemble my engine.

 

yea, having back up wheels is always a good idea.

for winter Im bringing out my old rusty 1993 GMC Seirra 1500, which was my first vehicle. Im glad I never sold it. Its not cool, but its perfect for the winter.

 

LOL.. i think my eclipse is going to be a little snow plow.. got no winter beater,too poor and work isn't close enough to walk >.<. U guys are lucky.
