Another thing to do is move the engagement point on the pedal itself. Anytime any clutch work is done, you should have to adjust it every time....unless the point is dead on that is

Where is the adjuster for the pedal?

It's under the dash, if you look up from the floorboard, you'll see where the rod comes in from the engine bay and then you'll see the bracket that the rod goes through and that's where the lock nut is. The adjustment is as easy as turning the rod itself.
