I tried starting it in N, but as soon as I turn the car on the shifter will not move into any other gear. I have the clutch down and its still not moving into any gears. The shifter moves into any gear perfectly with the car off, but nonewith the clutch down and the car is on.

 

When the car is off, put the car in 1st and try to start it.

 

Ok, I put it in 1st and tried to turn it on it started to try and move a little stop move alittle and stopbut would not turn on fully, I tried it in 1st and held down the brake and it wouldnt not cut on at all.

 

Sounds like the pressure plate is gone

 

ok, im almost betting either try to adjust it or a slave cylinder... my first gen did the same thing, only after i changed the the clutch, then i bought a new slave cylinder.. it didnt help but when i adjusted the clutch it was fine

 

stupid question but there is fluid in the resivor right?

 

I checked all the fluids, the only thing that doesnt have fluid in it is the little container near the top right of the car, TBHdunno what that container even is.
