Default Clutch Extensions

I have been trying to find clutch exctensions for my 2G Eclipse GST. The foremost reason for that is because I'm short and I want to have less strain on my leg when using the clutch. Now... I have read about clutch extensions and tried to find 2G clutch extensions but rendered unsucessful. the ones I have found were DSM 1G's, and I'm not sure if I can use that on my car.

Also, what I got from the readings was that if you get the clutch extension you will have to have new Clutch Slave Cylinder and also new master cynlinder? I'm not sure if someone can explain to me regarding this topic?

Any other ways for me to reach my clutch easier? anyone?

Thanx, Kiddo

how short are you? eclipse were designed for short people. in fact, anyone OVER 6' usually is uncomfortable. My moms only 5'2 and she has no complaints driving my car, an I have an ACT 2600 clutch too.

I'm 5'1", and honestly, the Eclipse is so much more comfy than other cars... it is designed for short ppl that's for sure.... and i'm definitely not complaining.... However, it was just an idea maybe it could help me relieve more.... just seems so easy for taller ppl and for me it's still a bit of a struggle and sometimes my clutch doesn't reach all the way down and I wouldn't notice....

if youre new to driving stick just keep at it, you'll get used to it. i stil refuse to believe that its hard for someone 5'1 to drive it
