i think a long long long time ago somebody posted a pic of an overseas eclipse that was 4g63 n/a but it was in fact left hand drive. when i go for a build on a car i definatly love to be unique and to have things that nobody else has.... that's why i'd love to have RHD so badly. the targa top will look siq w/ my roll cage paint matched to the car...

 

i agree with you that the targa top would be awesome

 

yea i know i have to put a roll cage in there to keep the structural integrity up to standards but i think it will acutaly look good w/ the matching paint on the bars that are exposed when the top is off.

 

grreeeeaaaattttt i just took the liberty of making a list of everything that i need for the build that i'm planning on.... i shoudn't have done that lol i'm all depressed now. there are only 60 items on the list and i thought there would be more than that but... i have at least 3 things that will cost over 2k... and at least 11 things that will cost 1k or more... i'm depressed now lol. i want it all, NOW!

good luck it might have to be a custome RHD cuz it is not just a little jap car that (they) have to swap to LHD for us.. you know what i mean... we built em here. LHD and that how they are.. lol.. kinda a bummer... but i will talk to a few of my tuner buddies and ask em.

 

I have a bit of japanese knowelodge and logged into the wikipedia and searched for a japanese version of the eclipse, but couldnt really find any... i think maybe cuz the eclipses are the bastard child of mitsubishi with dodge/chrysler... BUT!!! there are a few goodies out there overseas that MIGHT have somethings in common with the eclipse.... would have to be a really nice research project... emeraude or perhpahs magna look like candidates
