Default Eclipse 99 clutch problem

Hi guys, I'm new to the forums,......I have two babies, my beloved 99 mitsubishi eclipse RS and my 03 Infiniti FX RWD. my eclipse was running just fine, but today when I started it to go to the groceries store the clutch was not working. The first thing I noticed is that there was not pressure when I push the pedal. Then I saw some kind of stain on the pedal and then I checked the clutch fluid and there was nothing in there, it was dry. So bought a bottle with clutch fluid and filled the empty container. Now I don't know what to do...I was wondering if I have to replace the clutch which is going to be a real PITA and a lot of money. O r if it could be something else that it not letting the clutch work properly.
Thanks in advance for your help guys.

here some picks of my two babies

definitely your master cylinder. its leaking through the firewall, thats why you have the stain on the pedal and your reservoir was empty

nice fx btw

you should be able to do it, its fairy easy since its right there at the pedal. You would be better off to buy a haynes manual and that will give you full step by step instructions because you will also need to bleed the system afterwards and that will tell you how
