Hi,

I am about to by a 99 Eclipse GS OZ and I am going to check the car tomorrow with the owner. The deal seems too sweat to be true - 5.5K for 98.9K miles, all power, leather, CD, Cruise, ABS and OZ rims. It seems a bit low for that features and I was wondering whether I could ask for your advice because I am going to check it out tomorrow.

Can you please give me some questions that I could ask/check with the owner to insure that this is not some kind of scam. I carfaxed the car and it turned out to be without any problems except one which is quite mysterious:

This is from 06/23/2005. The guy posted the car for sale on 24th which is the most weird part. Does anyone of you have had this recall lately - 99 Eclipse owners - is it serious and do you know what information I should ask about it so I could go to the dealer and have it fixed.

I would really appreciate some DSM advice for the car. I had a Eclipse GS Spyder 96 last year but it broke 3 times. I didn't know anything about these cars and I got cheated on a crappy one really bad
