I talked with a place that rebuilds tcm's ecm's and ecu's. When i told him my automatic was stuck in like 3rd gear and limited to 3000rpm he said it wasnt the tcm it was the ecm.

When i was talking to him he said " Why do you need it? What is it not running or something?" I said "It runs but it is stuck in 3rd gear and limited at 3000rpm" He said " Well thats not your TCM, Thats your ECM".

I had an extra ecm so i installed it and guess what? My car works now.lol

i would have thought it was the tcm but w/e. My car shifts and red lines so im happy. Now time for that paint job, rims and exhaust. Just so i have a little something to show when school starts back up in the fall. Its funny cause i had bought a 92 talon awd automatic for $100 cause i wanted the coil. I got the ecm off that, i got the coil + plus various other parts. Now time to cut it up and sell the scrap metal for $1 a pound. btw the engine in the 92 is shot.
