Engine swap CEL???

You may want to swap in the 97 ECU too. If you swapped in the entire motor with all the sensors, then you have a motor tuned for (and vice versa) with a 97 ECU.

They did something to the 97+ that they didn't in 95+96 with either emissions or timing/fuel...or you could check all the sensors and make sure they resemble the 95-96 factory specs.

i would start by cleaning the throttle body and ISC (idle speed control) because that code has to do with the idle. Also try and adjust the BISS if your idling alittle to high or low
