im currently swaping out my 2g head cause they say the ports on the evo head are bigger than the 2g for more air flow...but only have the bare head...so i have two questions:

1.would the evo head bolt directly to the gst engine?
2.would the gst head-cams, valves, rollekers...etc fit into the evo head?

i'm not sure you can use an evo head cause the engine is flipped around on the evo... but i could be wrong... and why wouldnt you just get ur current head ported and polished then built? it'd be cheaper than buying an evo head and doin the same

I agree with him. And what kinda mods are you trying to do, and HP that you are worried about the flow capacity of the stock head?

The Evo I-III head is the same as dsm's. Not sure about the internals, but the I-III Evo head fits.

how much are you trying to spend on the head?
for probably about 1k or so you could build a pretty nasty head to flow 700+whp.

well the evo head was free...not really trying to get big hp gain...jus thought if swapping the heads might increase air flow...but thanks for info

What rob said is right, evo 1-3 heads will work on your 2gen. Which evo did you get the free head from?
