Default First time post

Hi, All

First let me say that I am not a "tuner.' I know some about cars, but not a great deal, and I know far less about the internet. However, I need some advice, and I thought the best way to do it is to go to those who do know about these cars.

I just bought my daughter a mitsubishi eclipse spyder. It is a 1998 model. The car seems to be in great shape. However, the headlights on the car are so bad that you can hardly see into them. It's like they are cloudy.

I was going to the dealership to order some new ones, but my daughter tells me that they make aftermarket ones that look better. I asked her what "better" meant, and she was like, "they are tinted or something." She also said that she wanted them to have angel eyes or halo kind of lights. I have no idea what this is, but she said that they have circles of lights around them.

Anyhow, if you all know of any reputable dealers on here that sell headlights that a kid might like, that look different, would you please let me know? Thanks for any help that you may provide.

She's probally referring to something like these

As far as reputable dealers, thats a toughy.
Best bet is just simply ebay, in m opinion.

One thing you gotta be careful about though, is model year.
Any 97-99 will fit her car, but 96 down will not.
Theres a difference in the bumpers and headlights themselves.

There is a way to actually resurface the stock headlights though.
The kit runs about $27-30 at an auto parts store.
You just need a drill (make sure you do it on low).
Just ask them for a headlight cleaning kit.
It buffs out that "milkiness" and clears them up fantastically.

Any more questions, just ask us.
This is one of the best, if not the best, mistu only forums on the net.

and p.s.
Welcome to the forums. lol
