Default forged internals

whats up guys i have a 95 gst with about 160000 miles on it.. body suspension and all that is in immaculate shape... motor runs ok but i want to do a rebuild.. any body have any suggestions on what kind of internals to go with? i plan on upgrading turbo sometime in near future and running about 18-20 pounds of boost.. i would like to stay below 2000

my best suggestion would be to take it to the local macines and have him tell you what are the best parts for your application. they deal with so many parts that they know the good and the bad of all parts they will also tell you what needs to be done and what should be done.

you dont need to do any rebuilding to run 20psi thats cake. Buy all your bolt ons first, then worry about the rebuild if you blow something up. Doing a rebuild first is dumb especially if you dont have any money left over to buy parts. then you just have a strong motor that makes no power.

Now if you NEED a rebuild thats a different story. do a compression test first and see how its running. you say its running ok, maybe all its needs is plugs, wires, fuel filter etc
