RCjr i havent tried the screwdriver trick yet but i'll do it this afternoon...i do have one question though...the faq about the relays says that the fuel pump relay is on the left and the asd is on the right...would that be standing in front of the car looking towards the firewall or from the driver seat looking towards the engine...j/w...and lol funny dusty haha but anyways...i used the new relay and it just didnt do anything...im lost lol...

The ignition system if fairly simple to follow, but to keep from getting headaches (too late, lol). The CPS, CAS, and ASD relay are the "sensing" components (to all sorts of timing issues), then ECU/PCM (obviouse what this does).
I'm suspecting the ECU now too, since you can't read codes.
...but first, do the "keydance". Do you know what that is? 95-97 DCX/Mitsu cars allowed DIY like us to point to an area of fault with MIL codes.
Anyway, turn the key to the "on" position without turning the motor over 3 times with roughly a half a second pause in between each turn. On the 3rd time, stop and keep the key in the "on" position. All the dummy lights should go out like they do. The CEL will flash a number of times. This is the code and they go in pairs....1-1, 2-4, etc. This will help in getting into the area of concern.
Try this and let us know what happens.

i used that one from radioshack...it doesnt have the middle prong that the original one had...do you think this might be a problem...anyways i'll try and see if i can get that code but if i can do you or anyone on here know how to decifer it...im definately not getting spark bc i did what RC told me to do but it didnt work notta no spark still no fuel...just nothing...and a buddy of mine told me that all cars 96 and up are OBDII and 95 to like 90somthing are OBDI would that make me not get a code since i have a 95 talon and was using an OBDII scanner??
