Default Help with exhaust and emissions

Well i have done some hours of research and still dont have the right answer that i need. I got a 1996 GSX about a week an a half ago. Bought the car for 3k thinking that it had a blown engine because the guy that I got it from said that it was not starting. Long story short I did not want to start it when I was there so after I got it to my shop we started the vehicle within five minutes......it was badly flooded. So with that said I got a pretty good deal for the eclipse in my opinion. Howeever after checking the vehicle over we found that it has the following

- Rusted downpipe
- There is no rear oxygen sensor
- No Cat
- The remaining exhuast can be condiser P.O.S

Keep in mind this is my first eclipse so please bare with me. I live in virgnia and emissions here is a pain the neck and thats what I am worried about right now. During my research I came across roadracingengeneering.com They offer a downpipe, high flow cat and cat back exhaust. Will it pass emissions using their complete system. How do I go about the rear o2 sensor. I know I can go ahead and buy the factory components and save myself a headache but at the same time that I want to pass emissions I would like to get some performance out of it. If anybody can help me I would really appreciate it. Thanks again

Default RE: Help with exhaust and emissions

The rear o2 sensor is justa cat checkso it's not really needed, but it will throw a cel. That can be worked around though:

Other than that you should be able to pass emmissions w/ their setup. You might want to give them a call and ask them.
