im in florida and now i have a motor that has 39.000 miles on it because the onther one looked as if it was droped.

Your deff paying too much for a 420a engine and it sounds like that shop is ripping you off big time! You might want to do some reasearch before you dish out all that cash.

**** you might as well buy another rs for that much lol.

ive done research the 420a does and mine did, well i get my pritty much brand new under the hood car tomorrow. they've put in the new engine and installed the new seal for my transmission and rebuilt my clutch because it had metal fragment in it screwing it up.

nah, the 420a shouldnt have gotten crank, thats the GS-T and GS-X, you prolly just have a spun bearing or something similar to crankwalk and the wrenchmonkey at the shop told you it was walked so they can get more money

Get your hands dirty and tear that motor apart to see exactly what's wrong with it. A spun bearing isn't the end of the world for a motor. Depending on how long you've been riding the car after you noticed knock is the issue. Sometimes you can get away with just having the crank journals polished or worse case scenario have it turned or just buy another one. While your at it, go ahead and rebuild that motor for forced induction.
