to me as long as its under a quart adding some is ok. It really won't effect anything. I guess it also depends on how long its been since the last change. after 1500-2000 you might as well do it.

if your oil is low and you are under 1500 miles since your last oil change....then you need to get that oil leak checked

If you have a turbo car you should change it before 3000 anyway...at full boost you burn oil, every turbo car blows some black smoke under full boost and between hard shifts. unless you have a catch can I am pretty sure those eliminate that

I had it looked at this tune up place next to my work and they said it was my oil pressure switch and a sliced gasket. so thanks for the input but i do know when to change my oil i know that much hahahah thanks

youd be surprised how many people are lazy about there oil and dont keep up on it and do it on time... that is why I do mine early.

I drive a few hundred miles and start feeling like it has been forever and I go change it...always ends up being like 1500Miles or so lol
