Check your PSI. Are your running to high. When My EVO was overboosting a few weeks ago it smoked so bad you couldnt see anything in the rear view.. I lowered the boost and all is well. If the turbo isnt screaming death whine then he is prob ok with the turbo

 

oh my turbo has had the death whine for like 3 months now. its just holding on somehow

 

Yep! Turbo it is!

 

Death whine means it is not hanging on anymore lol... once you here that your turbo is saying its time for bigger and better. How much boost are you holding? will it even hold any boost do you have a gauge (non stock).

If you have death whine the seals are prob bad which will cause bad smoke on spoolup

 

oh actually it holds 13 pounds to redline
It's been screaming for about 3 months but just recently started smoking

whine=dead if you want to wait till it only holds 2 PSI then your not to bright. If it smokes the seals are prob gone if it is infact from the turbo.
