if its more of a ticking then it could just be the usual lifter tick, which in that case it really isn't anything to worry about.

 

That was kinda what I was looking at. The best thing he can do if it's lifter tick is an engine flush and oil change with a thicker oil. That will quiet the ticking down but it also depends how loud it is. If it's inaudible when the radio is on then it's nothing to worry about.

 

it's loud, getting alot louder, i'm not driving it anymore, it's sounds like it's comming from the 2 cylender to the left of the engine.

 

well then i would run a compression test to make sure that none of the cyclinders are misfiring
