ok the wire on my halo are both red so what do i do about that

just test it, i dont think it matters which one you hook up, just as long as one is grounded and one is got power to it

So with the switch, i connect the two red wires to the switch, then run a wire to where for power?

ok basically what you do with a switch.. is you uhm... the switch is suppossedly cutting the power cable in two.. by either actually cutting it, or getting a wire to the switch and then connect the power cable into the switch... the idea is that the switch interrupts the current

no, you ground one red wire, run the other one to one end of the switch, and the other end of the switch you run to ur fuseblock under ur dash. i chose a fuse that had constant power, that way i could turn them on at a car show without leaving my car on
