Default Sohc 2.4L VS. Dohc 2.0L

single or dual, what truly are the cons and pros of turboing these two diferent type of engines. post your opinions here....

Well I'd have to say flow would be a number one concern here. As in the valves and timing. I think a DOHC has a bit more power potential turbo'd.

Well theres quit of bit of information on this topic. But let me try and explain.

SOHC: more torque, stronger block, higher compression, easier to tune, a lot more power comes out of 2.4, and some others. I'll think of it and get back to you.

DOHC: more torque at mid-low range, 16v, quiker turbo spool, less turbo lag, tuning is simple
