98 GST Spyder,all of a sudden the speedo is dead.It actually bounces around through the whole speed range from time to time.I dont know if its cable driven or electronic but i need this thing fixed,please help,thanks

I had a speedo problem also. Found out the person who rebuit my 6 bolt broke the speedo sensor(little electrical unit). Just bought a new one and installed it and i was able to tell how fast i was going again. It wasn't that expensive $50 doller CDN..

 

check the sensor on the tranny and i think there is one in the engine bay as well.
