P0446 - EVAP System Vent Control Malfunction:

Vent Solenoid Valve (VSV) testing

1.) Disconnect VSV electrical connecter. Check resistance across Purge Solenoid Vavle (PSV) terminals. Resistance should be 17-21 ohms at 68 degrees F
2.) Mark and disconnect vacuum hoses from VSV. Connect hand vacuum pump to PSV nipple closest to terminal end of solenoid. Connect jumper wires between PSV terminals and battery positive terminal and battery negative terminal.
3.) Apply vacuum with battery voltage applied. Vacuum should hold. Disconnect battery voltage and apply vacuum. Vacuum should leak.

why do you start 2 threads for the same problem. Again i say its a leak. Check the hoses and make sure they are all connected and that they are in good shape. Also could be the EGR valve is stuck.
