steering wheel stiff

steering wheel stiff
I have a 96 eclipse it was running fine untill a few hours ago for somereason it was just turning off when i would put it on neutural for a red light and now it is able to stay on netural but now the steering wheel is stiff so im not sure what could be the problem and please bear with me im not too knownledge able with cars...

Stiff wheel = power steering.
Died at idle + stiffness, check power steering pump + pulley. Maybe the belt broke. The 420A uses 2 belts, a power steering/ac belt, and a seperate alternator belt.
