the proper way to lower it is to buy new shocks/struts, springs, and camber kits for the front and rear, thus avoiding odd/uneven tire wear...

or buy a coilover setup, which would come with everything except for the camber kit.

Do you really need a camber kit? Is the change that bad? say a 1.5 drop.

I did a 1.5 drop without a camber kit on my GS therear has a little negitive camber going on be it isnot bad at all. anything more than that I would say make sure you get a camber kit

its just not smart to lower a car any amount without correcting the camber. who cares if it costs you $100 extra. you will go through tires in no time and more than pay that for replacing the tires. lowering is something that really needs to be done right.

Besides that there's also the posibility of damage to internal parts cuz of rubbing and/or blowouts. But then again just like ANYTHING in cars great care and research prevail

I just had my 1990 GSX lowered, Koni yellows, B&G lowering springs...now my back tires sit at funny angles, where would be the best place to get a camber kit to correct it?

Again research a few places don't go to the place just cuz Joe Mechanic SAID it's the cheapest. Joe may just have a buddy there that cuts HIM a deal. I'd say look into reputable places too. If you're looking for a kit I'd say check JEGS, Summit, NOPI, and J.C. Whitney for starters.

The back tires will normaly sit a little funny like my 98 gst they tilt in a little but you probaly should get a kit to fix the camber...
