price cant be answered it can range from a few $100 to a few $1000 suspension in a DSM is an important upgrade to me. It can hwlp with traction but mainly handleing youll be able to push the car alot harder into and out of corners. it wont make the ride smooth because generally you lower the car and stiffen everything up and that means you feel ever bump (it is very much worth it though) IMO it make a car alot more fun to drive.

Suspension is just as important as a motor in racing. A good suspension is key to getting traction off the line in a drag, it helps the car leap in and rocket out of truns faster in autocross, and give controle slides in drifting. What i recomend is that you first fuiger out what you want from the car to meet your needs.

Yeah suspension will play key roles in all types of racing. Not to mention changing the way your car handles even on daily driving. Different setups for different things so like slow said figure out what you want to do and then research what is good for that type of driving. Just take a look at pro races. Each car is set up differently suspensionwise. And slow what YOU need to do first is either A.) Learn how to spell or B. Find us a spellchecker for the forum LOL

I have Coilovers on my car and on every little bump that I hit I makes a big thud noise. Should I raise it a little more or is it that I need new Shocks?

well if you have stock shocks/struts you should have them replaced with an aftermarket set made for lowering in the first place.that should take care of your issues
