Default Turbo gone crazy

Ok so im running on the highway an started to boost i whas currently at 16psi, on first the turbo gauge tells me im at 16psi, when i get second i see that mi boost gauge reads 20psi and in third 28, hmmmm i start to get worried and turn down the **** to 10psi, when i did it it threw 10 in first, 15 in second and 20 in 3rd.[:@]

Now today i try it again and every gear throws 10 psi.

Can anyone help me here im worried, i think i broke something

This is the exact reason why I dont like electronic boost controlers. If I were you I would e-bay that bitch and get a mbc.

Meh F it i think im gonna buy greddy gauges, aut meterrrrrrr sucka assa


So you think its the gauge that is FKD up,
I mean the car runs as always and there are no leaks as far i know

OK the turbo is ported, hks BOV , Walbro Fuel pump, ACT extreme clutch.
that is basically all

K where do each of the guages go into the system? If they all go in att he same point then there must be varying degrees of leakage somewhere...

Hook one gauge up to the hose that goes from the compressor housing to the wg acuator, then hook the other up to the intake manifold. The on on the intake manifold will give you a percise hg and the other will give you a positive boost pressure reading.

Also to check for leaks get a spray bottle of soapy water and spray the line with the engine running. If it bubbles anywhere it's obviously leaking

did this happen right after installing the boost controller? if so you probably have the vacuum hoses reversed.

does the boost only go high for a second then fall back to normal? if so it could be boost spike.

try to report more info
