Hey all....I am lookin for a 97-99 GST or GSX eclipse turbo...but the turbo models are f**kin hard as hell to find, and i kinda want a car soon. So i was thinkin, instead of waitin forever for a good used turbo, if i just get like a GS or RS or something and add a turbo kit and everything to it...will it still get the same horsepower etc...any info would be helpful...thx

 

you cant just stumble upon what you want.. odds are if you rush yourself youll end up getting into a car that you really dont want... when your looking/needing a car almost everything looks appealing.. if you want a turbo car.. wait and get a gs-t/gs-x... they arent incredably rare and you will eventually find the one for you... unless you plan on dumping LARGE amounts of money into your car your best bet is to start out with the turbo models anyway...

 

not again!! it depends on how much money you are looking to spend and what kind of HP you are lookin for... if ur lookin to spend a decent amount and be done with it, get a GS-T or GSX, but if you are lookin for something soon and want something that will really turn head and will tear most up, you can get a RS or GS, rebuild the engine and throw a turbo kit on it. that's what im doing... look on www.HAHNRacecraft.com there is a very good artical on an RS that they have pushin about 550whp!! but that's like 25-30k in it!!! they sell everything necessary to modify almost anything you are looking for!!! good luck
