so i bought a used one for 50.00 bucks the standard one that holds 20 psi,but now my car vacuums at 15,but the mbc works and holds 13 psi perfectly,but heres the problem i was listening the to the mbc and it sounded lke air was leaking,and my bov isnt as loud as it was before until i hit full boost,anyone ever had the problem?

 

Sounds like the boost controller is leaking, did you do a boost leat test? How do u hear air leaking from it?

 

yeah its coming from the boost controller,my car vacuumed at 20 before i put on the boost controller

 

Well it sounds like the mbc is no good.

 

That mbc is half bleeder and half ball and spring. The air you hear is a normal affect of the bleeder half. Do you have the one with an adjustable bleed valve? If so, adjust it, lol.
