Default VIOLENT shaking problem

I have a 93 Eagle Talon, (Same as a 93 Mitubish Eclipse )

Engine: 2.0
Turbo: No
Tranny: Manual

The car vibrates VERY badly, moreso at higher speeds like 50+, and it ONLY does it when accelerating. Its so bad i cannot see out my side mirrors, or barely read my dash guages! The steering wheel does not vibrate with this...

Does ANYONE have a clue as to what it might be?? I appricate any ideas or help!

Oh if i didn't give ya a big enough hint as to how badly the vibrating was... It broke my tranny motor mount!!! thinking that maybe it was broke before hand, i replaced it and then went for a drive again, but as soon as i got to higher speeds, the shaking started up again

yea if its bad at high speeds i would say check out all alignment problems. but if it does it while accelerating maybe your motormounts are bad/loose.

You said that it occurs when you are accel. It is probably a bad corner stabilizer or a rubber bush in the suspension. I had it with my prior car, and replacing these solved the problem. I presume that you've had your tires checked (balance etc). Also make sure that there is no any mud, dirt pile inside your rims. Take care.
