check for boost leaks or leaks between the MAS and turbo?

i dunno, maybe your BOV is leaking or something. i would do a boost test....theres a FAQ on it i believe in the eclipse section....not sure tho

Ok well I am hopeing that it is the BOV I am replacing the UPIC pipe and BOV this week so we will try that first.

It's weird tho beacuse it is really random. It has only happend like 3 or4 times, I dont get it.

it might be something like your BOV going out, like its sticking open or shut.....

yea my idle control sensor is going out and it will act up sometimes....its weird

check your coil packalso. My eclipse was doing that, reving up on it's own, and occasionally shutting off. Come to find out, my coil pack was going bad. Never thought that would happen, but it does.

i had that problem alot when the wiring harness going to my alternator shorted out. before it did my car would dieit might have been my biss tho. could that be it?
