Can ruin a fuel pump also...

That is funny.. If your gauge doesnt go all the way down to empty it could be an easy enough mistake

This is why I miss carb cars. My dodge I run outta gass ALL the time... (The guage is REALLY sporatic what do you expect out of a '64 LOL)... NEVER have problems starting again... A little starter fluid in the carb and some gas she'll kick right over
