Which do you think would be better for my 91' stealth, a Turbo or a supercharger. It has 130k on it but i would be rebuilding the engine before it gets anything else done to it. I know that chargers are easier on the engine but im a big fan of the sound of a blow off valve. what would be the better upgrade for the money. And what do you think i would have more fun with?

A honda Civic. Going turbo for the blow off noise [:'(]. Isn't this the eclipse/spyder forum anyways?

If you get a cintrifucal type supercharger like Vortech, and use an intercooler with it you can still use a blow off valve. and be at safe boost levels for the street. If your worried about reliability and things like that then i would go with a supercharger cause then you wont have to worry about boost creep.

You do realize there is a forum for 3000gt's/stealths?.... Id sell your car, dont waste money on it. Youd said uve put about 6k into it to get it to work... and even if u did feel liek spending the money, twin turboing your car would be a crapload of money... the conversion kit for it is about 12k said and done...(thats doing your own labor)...(15k if not)

Based purely on efficiency turbos are better. There's lots of other things you have to consider once you've done some research on what's out there. Things like cost, ease of intall, and how much, if anything, you're gonna have to fabricate.
