i am deciding between these two o2/ wastegate setups. i am not trying to spend a fortune but wanna get the best i can outta my money. i would like to know your opinions on look, sound, reliablity, boost creep, spool times, which one is just a better setup..
1st setup-if i want to run it with the custom 38mm internal wastgate on the turbo which cost $150 extra...

OR...
2nd setup- plus i would add $220 for the tial 38mm external wastegate

i will be running this turbo.... at around 18-22psi... (when i build the car more i will run higher boost) http://www.dsmparts.com/customer/pro...166&page=1
or this turbo but only externally gated.... and fully ported....=)

Default RE: what would you prefer???

well there is a big difference between the 50 trim and the to4b. And also you have to remmeber that going with an external wastegate means you need a new o2 housing. So add that to the extra $220

I think the 50 trim you need a new o2 housing anyway (not totally sure) But i would do it anyway so to answer your question, internal with the t04b and external with the 50 trim.
