if i were you i would call all the local macinest and see how much they will do a longblock overhaule for. If you are gtting into replacing rings and internal stuff like that just overhaul from the head down this gives you new pistons, rings, the right rod bearings, crank turned "if needed", full head job, all the little cracks and stuff get cleaned out chemical bath, water pump tentioner and timingbelt, it comes in time you just put it in and start it up. you get a guarantee to where if the motor screws up in a year or two depeneding on guarantee they fix it free. this will run ya anywhere from 1200-1600 depenein on what internals you get.
