Default engine?

just a random question, would this engine fit into my 3g? i know its the 4g64, but i wasnt sure if there was something different about it. i cant afford it now but it would be nice to know that there is something else available for the 3g since tearstone apparently no longer supplies the turbo kits
here ya go

Why trash your block? All you need is some nice internals and a EVO head swap and you will have basically a EVO strocker I guess you could say.

The stock block in your car is great and the stock internals are as well so beef em up and youll be safe all day. the power maxes out from the stock SOHC head so the EVO head swap has been done a few times to open up much more power

EVO VIII or IX and I think VII as well that is what 01-06??

On the stock internals you can handle 10-15PSI with a very good tune but after internals beefed and EVO head worked a little it could take ALOT im sure.

how hard is it to swap from sohc to dohc, or do you just bolt it on and go?

So the evo 8 head really bolts on?
with the timing driver side oriented i know you can do an evo 1-3 head swap, but it dont just bolt up,you will have to freeze plug some oil holes on the 4g64 block and get 4g64 dohc gears for a galant butslowboy makes those for a good price

I'm interested because now i have the timingpassenger oriented and want to do the swap

Seriously, this swap seems like it might be a bad idea, unless youve got a motor to throw away...
