Default headlight trouble

i just bought some silverstar bulbs to see better at night because i live in the woods. and after i put them in my low beam was great. but when i switch it to high beam the beam like spreads out and i cant see 5 feet in front of me. i can see up and sideways good. but straight ahead is like i have flashlights mounted on the bumper. how can i fix this.

you are comparing apples to oranges. replace the hi beams and you should be fine. most after market bulbs are better than oem in some aspects. so changing the highs would be a solution. if it is still not pleasing you...post again
