Headlights start flashing after car is locked!

I have a 2001 Spyder. This started about 6 months ago. After I locked up the car the headlights start flashing as if the alarm has been set off. I found that if I close the door lightly it starts. If I close the doors abit harder it seems not to do it.
Is this a problem with the alarm/panic system? Has anyone else had problems like this?
Any suggestions or ideas?
