Injectors dumping fuel into cylinders!! Please HELP!!
Background of car: 2001 Spyder 3.0L Gt V6. Bought about a month ago. Original owner bought the car brand new. Body has 88k miles, motor and Trans were replaced with brand new and have around 15 miles, not 15k, 15. Car was afterwards built for a show car only so some components under the hood have been eliminated, but nothing that affects the running of the vehicle. It is mainly just the heat and a system.
When we went to get it, it wouldn' start. Fuel pump. Easy enough. Tore out the back seat and replaced it in no time. Ran fine but car was sitting for a very long time, so fuel was disgustingly bad. Hand pumped all old fuel out, replaced with new. Car was also throwing the p0300 code, multiple misfire. So went through the process of replacing everything dealing with that (plugs, wires, coil pack etc). Also bought refurb fuel injectors (tried to save money). Started up fine, then noticed the injectors were just dumping fuel into the cylinders. So went online and bought BRAND NEW not refurb injectors. Went through all that again on swapping those out. It starts up fine like normal. Give it about 30 seconds to a minute and the injectors again are dumping fuel. It is also still throwing the p0300 code. I tried searching online for causes and am only finding issues related to fuel injected cars flooding on start and shutting off and not starting again. Any and all info is greatly appreciated!!
