Ok so for starters i have a 2000 eclipse GT, when i start the car the RPM's like to start around 1500-2000 and it'll sit there for awhile after about 15 min it'll drop down to about a 1000, but if i try to drive before then my car goes roughly 10-13 MPH without touching the gas, it'll do that till it warms up the rest of the way, also my RPMs after it warms up sit around 600-400 and it does help a little if I pop it in neutral, what could be causing this?

Also my car is making a ticking noise whether the car is cold or warm, but when its warm its not as loud and it'll start then stop when im in park is this my block, pulleys, belt? also when i start to speed up so does the sound. any advice??

 

What you're hearing is the lifters. Not really a big deal.

Everything else is normal.
